Call for the 29th International Camp of Anti-Fascist, Anti-Imperialist and Democratic Youth

I received this translated article December 16, 2025.  There are several very delayed notices from TMLU, Revolutionary Democracy, Unity and Struggle, and others that I wanted to post after the very long January 31st post, with photos; it was apparently censored like the mid-February 2025 post, though there were differences this time I thought.  Maybe people will be able to open it.  Is Google doing this just to save their resources?  They give very few details about why they did this.  This is the 951st post on DS.

Call for the 29th International Camp of Anti-Fascist, Anti-Imperialist and Democratic Youth

From July 31 to August 9, 2026, we young people from all over the world will come together to strengthen our international solidarity and our common struggle. There is no time to waste! Our future is in danger!

Many of us live in poverty with fewer and fewer prospects for education, housing and a secure future. Many of us live under repressive governments that deprive us of the right to express our opinion and defend ourselves. Many of us are suffering the effects of climate change and the exploitation of nature. Many of us are forced to flee because our lives are in danger. And many of us are being prepared to fight as soldiers in the next big war. No matter where we are, it is the imperialist system that is putting our future at risk.

In Ukraine and Palestine, as we speak, we see how imperialist wars and genocide are responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths. Increasing war budgets and the militarization of society is a reality we face in many countries.

Nevertheless, preparations for a major war are accelerating. It is the conflicts between imperialist powers and alliances, such as NATO, the EU, the United States, China and Russia, that trigger these wars and exploit and subjugate entire countries, especially in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

At the same time, they try to pass on the cost of their profits to the working class and the peoples: they cut social budgets, funding for education and health, raise prices, lower wages, and introduce labor flexibility and unemployment. In this situation, fascist tendencies are increasing that seek to take away our right to fight for our rights and divide us with racist and sexist policies.

But young people around the world have shown that they are willing to fight! From Ecuador to Tunisia, we have blockaded schools and universities to put an end to the genocide in Gaza. From Brazil to Turkey, we have taken over the streets against fascism and repression. From France to Argentina, we have gone on strike for education and social security. And we are not willing to stop!

As young people of the world, we are rebelling, aware that our problems have the same roots and that our goal is common: a world without exploitation and without wars, in which we can live in harmony and build our lives knowing that our future is in our hands.

At the 29th International Youth Camp, we will come together to build our daily lives and culture. We will learn new things: traditional dances from all over the world, film and short film production and theater and painting.

We will share our experiences and train ourselves, with the aim of agreeing on joint actions to unify our struggles and continue, side by side with the working class and the peoples of the world. We will learn from each other and practice international solidarity. We will show that another society is possible, in which to live in peace and solidarity!

Join the International Youth Camp 2026 and become part of the movement! The Camp will take place from July 31 to August 9 2026 in Austria. You can participate as individuals or as groups from all over the world.
