"Iran deploys Lego VIDEO in PR war against US"  www.rt.com/news/634174-iran-us-lego-video-pr-war/

NPR portrayTrump and the Republicans as threatto US "democracy," ihacovered some othe war crimes allegedly carried out by Israel, and NPR admits that the new war is very unpopular with the American public, yet their coverage seemto be very biased to serve what some have termed the 'Epstein coalition.'  And NPR covers Palestinian suffering but they condemn Palestinian resistanceI'm not sure if they even covered the recent non-violent Palestinian resistance.  I've been avoiding NPR lately, so maybe I've missed coverage, but judging from what I have heard, they are doing a great deal opropaganda work for Trump and Israel.  The BBC isimilar, delegitimizing the Iranian "regime" athe US and Israel kill huge numbers of Iranian civilians and carry out war crimes, delegitimizing Hezbollah (though Israel constantly violated the Lebanon ceasefire, which the BBC even covered)covering up damage taken by the US and Israelcovering up public anger about the War in the "West," etc. but is more distant, as if the UK is nocollaborating with the US and Israel.  I was listening the night when they reported breaking news, Israel (only) was 'preemptively' bombing Iran (to preempt the negotiations in Oman, I wondered, but soon afterward they reported that the US was also taking part). After the long lead up to the warstarted by Bush and Cheney the Ukraine and Ramadan wars seemed surprising, though I thought that Trump was planning to attack Iran again soon.  It is also due to how the lead up to the new wars was portrayed.  It didn't seem like Trump prepared adequately for massive war.  At 5pm today they did propaganda work for Trump regarding the attack on Venezuela (covering an International Women’s Day protest against the government, implying that there are political prisoners; Peralta is now in country I see) and earlier they defended the VOAetc. (a US propaganda station "serves" Cuba, the VOA demonstrates proper journalism for benighted regions of the world, etc. said a guy who once worked in Durham).  NPR agrees with Trump on so much, he ifulfilling their greatest imperial dreams abroad, so why the hostility?  NPR deserved the loss of itFederal funding, though it workfor the government and the "Epstein class."  The "Europeans" have to thread a needle, they say (like NPR itself?), and the woman from Brookings says that first of all, the Europeans (meaning their rulers) all want the Iranian government to be overthrown.

Won't the very heavy smoke from burning Iranian oil infrastructure make targeting harder for the US and Israel?  The BBC pointed out that the smoke ialso a serious health hazard for the Iranian civilians Trump, Netanyahu, and the BBC claim to care about so much.  The BBC has been interviewing members of its Persian Service, anti-government Iranians, and the occasional pro-government academic, while NPR basically won't talk to anyone who favors government targeted by the US, whether under Trump or Biden.

[The BBC's Jeremy Bowen faults the Iranians for nofighting on the Empire's terms and quickly losing, unlike the Vietnamese and the American revolutionaries and the BBC and NPR are covering up the damage Iran iinflicting on the US, Israel, and the NATO countries, probably benefiting Russia, ChinaCuba, Venezuela, etc. Iran's resistance could even save the US from Trump.]

POP OPPOSES TRUMP’S WAR ON IRAN
Statement by Lawrence Hamm, Chairman, People’s Organization for Progress.
The People’s Organization for Progress is unequivocally opposed to the U.S. war against Iran. This war is one of the most stupid, dangerous, and tragic actions taken by the Trump administration so far and should immediately be brought to an end.

Not one more person should die in this war. Turn the ships around and bring our troops home now.

We are opposed to this war as are the majority of Americans. We don’t want another war for oil. We don’t want another regime change war. We don’t want another forever war like Iraq, Afghanistan, and Vietnam. We want peace.

It is an illegal war since it is not a war declared by Congress. According to the Constitution it is Congress, not the President, who has the power to declare war.

This is a war of imperialist aggression. Iran did not attack the United States and posed no threat to this country. The U.S. attacked Iran first. In this conflict it is our country that is the aggressor.
Dr Martin Luther King when discussing the Vietnam War said the greatest purveyor of violence                 in the world was the U.S. government. That was true then and it is true today.
The U.S. is the purveyor of state terror. The Trump administration acts like a mafia state with little regard for domestic and international law. He kidnaps Venezuela’s president and holds him for ransom, for a cut of the oil business.
He kills the president of Iran, knock him off to get him out of the way. He strangles countries like Cuba with economic sanctions, so he can take over their territory.

This war is totally unnecessary and in part is one of Trump’s own makings. It has already caused the needless loss of not only American and Iranian lives but also the lives of people in other countries in the region.
POP opposes the war with Iran because it is paid for with funds that could have been used for our domestic needs, such as health care, education, jobs, and housing. It is not only paid for in tax dollars it is paid for with lives.
Rich people benefit from these wars, but their children don’t fight in them. Barron Trump will not be fighting in Iran. It is the sons and daughters of the working class, poor folk, black people, Latinos, and other minorities who make up the majority of those who will fight and die in Iran and other wars for empire.  Trump’s recent attack on Iran began a few days ago but it has already become a regional conflagration. In a region already roiling from Israel’s genocidal war against the Palestinians, and Trump’s attack on Iran last year, the U.S. and Israel decided to strike Iran again.
In retaliation Iran has struck back at U.S. forces and also bombed Israel, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Syria. This conflict has the potential of escalating further and dragging us into a world war.
Despite Trump’s pronouncements, he bears responsibility for bringing the U.S. into this conflict. He says this is about nuclear weapons. However, he withdrew the U.S. from the Iran nuclear deal that was in place that kept Iran from developing nuclear weapons.
However, most people know this war is not about nuclear weapons. Iran is one of the major producers of oil. This is yet another war for oil. This is a war about U.S. dominance and empire.
Iran is the biggest obstacle to Israel’s hegemony in the region. Israel has been urging the U.S. to go to war with Iran for decades. This war is about Israel’s hegemony in the region and the establishment of Netanyahu’s goal of a “greater Israel,” which he announced at the United Nations.
Many understand that this war is about distraction. This is a war to draw our attention away from the Epstein files, which is shaping up to be perhaps one of the biggest scandals in American history. A scandal which many believe could implicate President Trump and several of his cabinet members in various types of criminal activity.
The People’s Organization for Progress urges people to take every action necessary to bring this unjust war with Iran to an end. People should utilize every tool available to express their opposition to this war. In the fight for peace there is something everyone can do.
We should take to the streets and protest now and keep the protests up until the war in Iran ends.  Demonstrations took place this weekend in cities and towns across the country.
There will be another massive wave of No Kings protests across the U.S. on Saturday, March 28th. A No Kings protests is scheduled for that day beginning 12:00 noon at the Lincoln Statue, 12 Springfield Avenue in Newark, NJ.
People should participate in these protests and use them as an opportunity to demonstrate opposition to Trump administration’s foreign policy toward Iran, Venezuela, Cuba, Haiti, Congo, Sudan, South Africa, and other countries.
We should engage in economic initiatives such as boycotts, divestment, and sanctions. We should boycott and divest from companies whose products and services are used to support these unjust wars.
We should pressure our elected officials to take a stand against the war and pass legislation to bring it to an end. We should write, call, text, email, and meet with our congressional representatives and let them know about our opposition to the war.
POP calls on all congressional representatives to vote in favor of the war powers resolutions sponsored by U.S. Senator Tim Kaine (D-VA), Rep Thomas Massie (R-KY) and Ro Khanna (D-CA).
These bills require the removal of U.S. Armed Forces from the conflict in Iran and that future military action against Iran must be authorized by Congress.
We must use our votes for peace. We should vote for anti-war candidates and vote against those that are pro-war. As we fight to end the war in Iran let us also work to change our political-economic system, an imperialist system, that profits from and drives us to war. These wars are not only policy choices they are systemic in nature.

Scintilla n. 158, March 2026
[ piattaformacomunista.com/index.php/scintilla-n-158-marzo-2026/ ] by the Organization for the Communist Party of the Proletariat (Italy)
We relaunch this appeal for Cuba, which is resisting with dignity and firmness the decades-long embargo, the cruelest ever imposed on a people, and the attempts at armed infiltration orchestrated by US imperialism and its mafia accomplices.
Support for Cuba and the rejection of the criminal and genocidal Yankee policy are developing in all areas. Also in our country, in various cities, solidarity initiatives are being organized in which our comrades actively participate.
Together with the Cuban people, for the end of the criminal blockade imposed by US imperialism!
The Cuban people are facing unprecedented material hardship. The blockade of oil supplies imposed by Trump's proto-fascist administration means that not a drop of oil is coming from Venezuela and Mexico. Surgeries in hospitals have been suspended. It is very cold and blackouts are continuous. Transportation is cut.
The noose around the neck imposed on Cuba since 1962 by the United States, through a criminal economic, commercial and financial blockade, is tightening in order to destabilize the island economically and politically.
The Trump administration's revival of the criminal "Monroe" doctrine in the Caribbean and Latin America, which aims for "regime change" favorable to the interests of U.S. monopolies, is placing an enormous burden on the shoulders of the Cuban people.
The vassals of NATO's aggressive and warmongering pact, especially the Meloni government, are following Trump's policy of "force", without a breath. They hypocritically preach peace while rearming and making themselves complicit in the embargo, aggression and genocide against the peoples.
For their part, the "friendly countries", such as China and Russia, look after their own imperialist interests and do not dare to confront the USA over Cuba. The bourgeois governments of Latin America and the "non-aligned" limit themselves to declarations, without carrying out concrete actions.
In this situation, the overwhelming majority of the Cuban population is resisting, tenaciously defending its gains and does not want to surrender to the plans of domination of the Yankee imperialists.
In the face of the threats, blackmail and aggression that the Cuban people are subjected to, one cannot hide one's head and close one's eyes.
The working class and peoples are called upon to develop a united and supportive mobilization together with the Cuban people, who want to live in peace and be the architects of their own future, continuing their anti-imperialist and democratic revolution.
The contrast between oppressor imperialism and the oppressed peoples is getting worse and worse. But in our country too little is still being done to denounce imperialist aggression and show solidarity with the Cuban people, who generously helped us during the pandemic.
It is therefore necessary to give impetus to a mass mobilization, following the example of that for Palestine.
We appeal to the forces of the workers' and trade unions' movement, to the anti-imperialist and anti-fascist realities, to the sincere lovers of freedom and peace to raise their voices and extend their actions of solidarity with the heroic Cuban people who are resisting and struggling against imperialism.
Let us multiply the initiatives at the local level, to reach a national day of denunciation and internationalist solidarity alongside the Cuban people and other peoples attacked by imperialism.
We demand an immediate end to the blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba!
NO to any imperialist interference and aggression! Cancellation of Cuba's debts and support for the population! We defend the right of the Cuban people to self-determination!

Scintilla n. 158, March 2026 by the Organization for the Communist Party of the Proletariat (Italy)
Let us mobilize against the imperialist and Zionist aggression against Iran, for peace and solidarity among the peoples!
U.S. imperialism and its watchdog in the Middle East, Israeli Zionism, resumed coordinated aggression against Iran on February 28 on a large scale.
Numerous military and civilian targets, such as homes, schools, hospitals, infrastructure, in Tehran and other Iranian cities have been hit.
Over 153 girls from a primary school in Minab were massacred by Israeli bombs. Thousands of civilians have died and are injured at the moment. This is the true face of the "humanitarian and preventive intervention" of which the executioners Trump and Netanyahu speak!
The attack has been planned for months and the negotiations have only served as a cover while the military apparatus around Iran has been strengthened since the "12-day" war.
The US says it wants to overthrow the theocratic regime of the mullahs (a goal it has pursued for half a century) and to prevent Iran's nuclear program. In reality, with the war they want to consolidate their economic and political control of the region, rob Iran's energy wealth and gain geostrategic positions compared to their Chinese rival. This is to defend their declining world hegemony at all costs.
For Israel, this is the continuation of the war to strengthen the dominance of the Zionist state in the Middle East region.
The war is presented by the spokespersons of US and EU imperialism as being in the interest of the Iranian people. "When we're done with our job, take control of your government," Trump said. But the bombs and missiles launched by US imperialism and its Zionist ally will not bring democracy and sovereignty to the Iranian people. On the contrary, the labor and democratic movement in Iran has suffered a severe blow with this imperialist aggression.
Whenever the U.S. and its allies have attacked a country under the pretext of "regime change" they have brought only ruin and disasters, massacres and regimes worse than the previous ones; the wealth of the peoples has been plundered and repression has intensified.
The United States supports the most reactionary and oppressive regimes, such as Saudi Arabia, the Emirates and the zionist and racist Israeli state.
They are not the liberators of the Iranian people but their oppressors. The liberation of the Iranian people can only come from the working class and the popular masses themselves!
The breadth and destructiveness of the U.S.-Israeli aggression, the assassination of Khamenei, the Iranian response against U.S. targets in the Middle East, as well as the beginning of hostilities between Pakistan and Afghanistan, indicate that the war will not be short and will spread to a region that is a powder keg due to its geographical location, communication routes and sources of raw material.
The war, with the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, will lead to a worsening of the economic situation, as it will have a strong impact on energy supplies, will affect key elements for world production and trade, and will increase the likelihood of a crisis on the financial markets.
The repercussions of this war, which are added to the ongoing one in Ukraine and the ongoing stagnation, will be heavy for the working masses of our country, with recession and layoffs, high inflation, further attacks on wages and democratic freedoms.
In this dramatic situation, the despicable attitude of the representatives of the EU bourgeoisie must be denounced: as in Gaza, Venezuela and Cuba, full consent to US aggression and interference, no condemnation of violations of international law!
The Meloni government is continuing to align itself with Washington's warmongering policy, calling the Iranian response, not the aggression of the US and Israel, "unacceptable". The liberal-reformist parliamentary "opposition", after having encouraged for months the same policy that resulted in this new aggression, now appeals to the far-right government for a de-escalation.
Italy's membership in NATO, a war and terror organization directed by the United States, makes us complicit in the massacres and wars wanted by Trump and exposes us to terrible risks.
We cannot remain silent! Against this new imperialist and reactionary aggression that follows the one that took place against the Palestinian people, against Venezuela, the threats against Cuba, a vibrant proletarian and popular protest must be developed in the workplaces and in the plazas, as is already happening in many countries!
We call on the working class, the working masses, the women and men who love peace, progress and freedom to strongly condemn the criminal attack perpetrated by the USA and Israel, to unite and mobilize against the imperialist war, in defense of peace among the peoples.
Let us create a broad anti-imperialist anti-fascist united front, to stop the imperialists who are fighting among themselves for a new division of the world to be carried out on the backs of the workers and peoples.
We say: enough to the denial of sovereignty and the right to self-determination of peoples, to the policy of war and to the violation of the most elementary human rights.
Stop imperialist attacks against the peoples of Iran, the Palestinian people, Cuba and Venezuela!
Italy out of NATO and the EU, close US bases! Kick the warmongers out of power!
Solidarity with the peoples oppressed and attacked by imperialism!
The path that leads to social and national liberation, to fraternity among the peoples, to peace and the well-being of the working people is the path of revolution and socialism!

Marxist-Leninist Communist Party of Ecuador – Member of the International Conference of Marxist-Leninist Parties and Organizations – ICMLPO
Stop the imperialist-Zionist aggression against Iran and its people
A new criminal attack has been launched by US imperialism and Israeli Zionism, this time, the victims of the bombings are Iran and its people. The pretext is the same as always: "to bring democracy", "to fight terrorism", "to liberate a people" and "to save humanity". With that speech, the United States has attacked dozens of countries on all continents, causing destruction and death.
The first fatalities of the bombing of Iranian soil were more than 60 girls from a girls' school in southern Iran and the number of victims elsewhere is growing. Donald Trump, in the speech announcing this military intervention, warned that "bombs will fall everywhere" and that "they will face certain death" if they do not surrender, and he is complying with it.
These attacks are part of the escalation of US imperialism, which arrogates to itself the role of world policeman, and correspond to a strategy of containment against those it identifies as enemies and as factors that erode its already weakened hegemony.
The final consequences of this conflict are unforeseeable. In addition to the deaths of civilians, the destruction of infrastructure and forced migration, there is a risk of a generalization of the conflict in the region, as well as its impact on the global energy market, the volatility of financial markets and the impact on supply chains, among other factors that could deepen the risks of a global economic recession.
The Marxist-Leninist Communist Party of Ecuador strongly condemns and rejects the criminal and terrorist attack perpetrated by U.S. imperialism and Israeli Zionism against Iran and its people. The fact that Iran is ruled by a reactionary theocratic regime is no justification for foreign military intervention; it is up to the workers and peoples of that country to decide and resolve their destiny sovereignly.
We call on the workers and peoples of Ecuador and the world to reject this imperialist-Zionist aggression and to manifest solidarity with Iran and its people.
Political Bureau of the Central Committee
Marxist-Leninist Communist Party of Ecuador
